TO-O-1002 eye drops, besides its first potential therapeutic use for wet AMD, is currently also in the process of submitting “Orphan Drug Designation (ODD)” for certain type of rare eye diseases (not disclosed) to the US-FDA. By the FDA definition, rare disease is a disease that affects less than 200,000 people in the USa.
